Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 the team, she won gold medals in team competitions and also the floor exercises. On the balance beam, she received the bronze medal. This made her one of the very first American gymnast in the Olympics to earn the most medals. The gold medal she won in the Olympics in 2016 was her second consecutive gold medal for the United States team. She was, along with teammate Gabby one of the very first Americans to be able to complete this accomplishment. Also, she received silvers in the individual all around event and for floor work. After the 2002 Olympics, she stopped for three years gymnastics. In addition, she was a member of two gold medal-winning American gymnastics teams. The gymnastics classes began when she was just two years old and is a fan of exercises on the floor. Aly has enrolled in the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing the profession of a fashion designer. Her future goals include expanding her trademark collection of leotards. Fierce is a novel she's currently working on will be published sometime in the coming year.
